Role Summary
Clicktech is expanding its Retail business and looking for a smart and ambitious individual based in Bangalore to enable the sales team to grow. The role requires effective co-ordination of the program’s projects and management of their inter-dependencies including oversight of any risks and issues arising. It also includes the co-ordination of the new capability for the business to enable effective change and realisation of projected benefits. The program manager is responsible for the overall integrity and coherence of the program. They will develop and maintain the program environment to support each individual project within it.
Responsibilities:
- Defining the program's governance arrangements – Planning and designing the program and proactively monitoring its progress, resolving issues and initiating appropriate corrective action
- Ensuring effective quality assurance and the overall integrity of the program - focusing inwardly on the internal consistency of the program, and outwardly on its coherence via interfacing with other programs and vendor managers
- Ensuring delivery of new products or services from projects is to the appropriate level of quality, on time and within budget, in accordance with the program plan and program governance arrangements
- Managing third party contributions to the program
- Managing communications with all stakeholders including but not limited to reporting the progress of the program at regular intervals to the program director
- Managing risks to the program's successful outcome
- Initiating extra activities and other management interventions wherever gaps in the program are identified or issues arise
Qualifications:
- MBA from Tier 2 college
- 1 - 5 years of experience in data-driven business operations processes where associates are required to handle large volumes of data and take decisions based on analysis of such data
- Proficient in Excel
- Knowledge of SQL and Python
Preferred Skills:
- Understanding of the retail business. Prior experience in a complex retail organization.
- Proven ability to develop new ideas and creative solutions
- Proven ability to work successfully in an ambiguous environment
- Proven ability to meet tight deadlines and prioritize workload
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Customer focus and professional demeanor
