Who We Are
A Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) team at Tejas Networks, focusing on the Wireless side, would be involved in managing the development, deployment, and maintenance of wireless communication products. Their work includes coordinating product design, optimizing performance, ensuring compliance with industry standards, and overseeing product updates throughout its lifecycle to meet customer and market needs effectively. They also work on integrating new technologies and improving the efficiency of wireless network
Experience
- 5+ years’ experience working in Project Management preferably in 4 G/5 G Radio networks.
- 3+ years’ experience working directly with Telecom OEM.
Education
- B. E / B. Tech in Electronics & Communication or Telecom engineering discipline or equivalent work experience
- PMP Certification (Preferable)
Language
- English
- Japanese (Mandatory) – Proficient to engage with Customer in Japan on regular basis, minimum N3 level.
What You Work
As a Project Coordinator will be responsible for
- Project Management for Wireless Radio as part of Product Management function.
- Candidate will be required to work with Customer teams in Japan on regular basis.
- Candidate will be required to work with multiple teams e. G. R&D (Hardware + Software), Testing & Validation, Supply Chain and Rollout.
- Project Tracking using various tools like Microsoft Project, Issue tracking using JIRA and other In-house tools.
- Engage with Customer (Internal & External) along with Sales / Pre-sales and Rollout teams, on management deliverable and timelines including Proof of Concept, Lab trials and Deployments.
- Build and maintain the program plans, development plans, delivery roadmaps.
- Program / Project risk management, delivery management and budget management. Preparation of data for management briefing and review, conducting weekly calls, daily calls, Action Item tracking.
- Basic understanding of Product Management Domain, including development and lifecycle of telecom equipment’s.
Mandatory skills
- Microsoft project management tool or equivalent tool hands-on experience.
- Project tracking, report generation and project setting administration, template ceation. Proven capability in Project Management working on complex multi-team projects through entire life cycle
- Regular tracking of milestones, tasks, inter-team or external dependencies
- Conducting project meetings with technical team managers, management & customers, managing notes and action items
- Preparation of project status, dashboard, effort and schedule tracking are an important skill
- Publishing regular progress report and dashboards to management
- Escalations of issues in project execution, tracking against baseline plans and person weeks of effort
