Job Summary:
We’re seeking a detail-oriented QA Engineer with hands-on experience in modern UI test automation frameworks including Test Cafe, Playwright, and Cypress. The ideal candidate will work closely with developers, product managers, and UX designers to ensure the delivery of high-quality, scalable, and reliable applications through robust automated testing.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Test Cafe, Playwright, and Cypress for web applications.
- Collaborate with cross-functional Agile teams to define test strategies, acceptance criteria, and comprehensive test plans.
- Execute end-to-end, regression, and performance testing to validate functionality and user experience.
- Integrate automated tests with CI/CD pipelines for continuous testing and faster feedback cycles.
- Identify, log, and track defects, and proactively work with engineering teams for quick resolutions.
- Contribute to test data management and reporting of test results to key stakeholders.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- 5+ years of QA automation experience for web-based applications.
- Proficiency in Test Cafe, Playwright, and Cypress.
- Strong understanding of Java and test automation best practices.
- Experience integrating tests with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, Git Lab, or Azure Dev Ops.
- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and participation in Scrum ceremonies.
- Solid debugging, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
