Position Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Robotics Lead with 15+ years of experience in designing, innovating, and implementing robotics solutions in large-scale construction, energy and engineering projects. The ideal candidate will lead the development of cutting-edge robotics automation technologies, particularly requiring advanced perception, kinematics and human-robot interaction capabilities. This role will involve overseeing the integration of robotics into our workflows, ensuring that our projects remain at the forefront of technological advancements.
Key Responsibilities:
Innovation and Strategy : Identify and implement robotics solutions that enhance operational efficiency, safety, and quality across L&T's construction and industrial projects. Innovate new technologies for automation and ensure their application aligns with company objectives.
Robotics System Design & Development : Lead the design, development, and integration of robotic systems in construction, airports, factories, pipelines, and electrification projects. Identify areas where automation can be implemented to reduce manual labor and optimize project timelines.
Project Management : Manage and coordinate robotics-related projects from concept to execution. Ensure that timelines, costs, and quality standards are met while aligning with L&T’s strategic goals.
Collaboration and Leadership : Work closely with cross-functional teams including project managers, engineers, and R&D specialists to implement robotics solutions across various sectors.
Continuous Improvement : Identify opportunities for improvement in existing robotics systems and processes, proposing and implementing changes as needed to enhance performance.
Ecosystem Creation : Assist in the creation of a robust ecosystem and provide technical guidance to robotics solution partners that can engage dynamically against a varied set of use cases across multiple geographies and deliver solutions for enterprise scale consumption.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Robotics, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
A minimum of 15 years of experience in robotics engineering, with a strong background in process automation, construction, or large-scale infrastructure projects.
Proven experience in the design and implementation of robotics systems for construction, manufacturing, or similar sectors.
Familiarity with industry standards, regulations, and safety requirements associated with robotics in construction and industrial settings.
