Responsible for monitoring & assessing hazardous & unsafe situations.
To advise concerned departments in planning & organizing measures necessary for the effective control of personal injuries.
Develop measures to assure personnel safety.
Correct unsafe acts or conditions through the regular line of authority.
Ensure 100% usage of PPEs inside the plant and May exercise emergency authority to prevent or stop unsafe acts or processes that seem dangerous or unhealthy Advise and instruct on various safety-related topics (noise levels, use of machinery etc.).
Conduct statutory safety committee meetings and Apex safety committee meetings to ensure unsafe points are highlighted and corrective actions are taken immediately.
Periodically sensitizing the importance of safety by conducting various competitions on significant days & motivating employees to register unsafe acts / conditions in ARC Respond to employees’ safety concerns.
Conduct investigations of all accidents and near-misses.
Reports to concerned authorities as requested or mandated by regulations Responsible for implementation & compliance of statutory requirements related to EHS Prepare reports on occurrences and provide statistical information to upper management Support & participate to all the internal / external audits.
Train and carry out drills and exercises on how to manage emergency situations.
