Senior Accountant – Remote
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to oversee financial operations, reconciliations, compliance, and reporting in a high-growth Fin Tech environment. This role requires 3-6 years of experience in accounting, financial analysis, and compliance, with a strong understanding of taxation, financial reporting, and automation tools. The ideal candidate will play a key role in ensuring financial accuracy, optimizing workflows, and supporting decision-making processes.

Location: India (Remote)
Roles and Responsibilities:
Manage general ledger and financial transactions, ensuring compliance with accounting standards.
Oversee accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) and optimize cash flow.
Conduct reconciliations for bank accounts, payment gateways, and financial records.
Ensure compliance with GST, TDS, IFRS, and corporate taxation.
Prepare detailed financial statements, MIS reports, and budget forecasts.
Lead month-end and year-end closing, including accruals, adjustments, and provisions.
Work closely with external auditors, tax consultants, and regulatory authorities.
Identify and implement process automation for financial reporting and compliance.
Provide strategic financial insights for decision-making.
Monitor financial risks, taxation changes, and compliance updates.
Role Requirements:
Commerce Graduate (B. Com, M. Com) or Semi-Qualified CA (CA Inter).
3-6 years of experience in accounting, financial reporting, and compliance.
Expertise in Zoho Books, Tally ERP, and automation tools.
Strong knowledge of GST, TDS, IFRS, GAAP, and corporate taxation.
Ability to analyze financial data and generate insights.
Experience in liaising with auditors, tax authorities, and regulatory bodies.
Strong leadership and communication skills.
Work Schedule: Monday – Friday (Work from Home)
Salary: ₹6-8 LPA
