Who we are:

The Product Regulatory Compliance Team is a specialized group in Tejas Networks Limited responsible for ensuring that all products meet the required EMI/EMC, safety, Reliability, Radio conformance, legal and industry-specific standards before they are launched in the market. This team plays a crucial role in the product development process, working closely with various departments such as engineering, quality assurance, legal, and marketing to ensure that the product adheres to all relevant regulations.

The team ensures that products can be sold in various regions by meeting the required regulatory standards, which is essential for market entry.

By ensuring compliance, the team helps protect consumers from potentially harmful or unsafe products.

Legal Protection:
Compliance reduces the risk of legal action against the company, such as fines, recalls, or lawsuits, due to non-compliance with regulations.

Brand Reputation:
Ensuring regulatory compliance helps maintain the company’s reputation for quality and safety, which is vital for customer trust and loyalty.

In summary, the Product Regulatory Compliance Team is critical in ensuring that products are safe, legally compliant, and ready for market entry, thereby protecting both the company and its customers.

What you work:

  • Knowledge of EMC design rules, such as cable segregation, earthing, shielding specifications, equipotential grounding, etc.
  • Perform electromagnetic interference design and troubleshooting analysis
  • Knowledge of antennas and electromagnetic propagation
  • Perform EMI/ESD testing and troubleshooting and provide recommendations for mitigation where needed
  • Experience in analysis of electromagnetic interference and finding the root cause of EMI/EMC problems.
  • Engage in problem solving activities to address tool/facility emissions and immunity issues
  • Support all EMC Design activity for assigned project or projects
  • Support EMC simulation and power integrity activities
  • Coordinate EMC pre-compliance testing for assigned projects
  • Perform EMC design reviews
  • Abel to write product test reports and maintain all compliance technical documents.
  • Create and manage test plans with internal and external test labs to validate product design and performance specifications.
  • Create laboratory test specifications and procedures.

Mandatory skills:

  • Must have strong high speed product design knowledge.
  • Deep understanding of EMC;
    RF certification processes in global markets and electrical safety added advantage.
  • Familiarity with lab equipment (network analyzers, spectrum analyzers, Immunity testers)

Desired skills:

  • Good logical sense, strong technical skills, and the ability to learn new technologies.
  • Strong documentation and writing skills.
  • Should have good interpersonal, verbal, and written communication.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience:
    5 to 10 years of experience in Compliance & design
  • Education:
    BE/B. Tech/ME/M. Tech in ECE/EEE.
