Share Point Developer2 Years Experience - with Migration Focus Job Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Share Point Developer with approximately 2 years of experience to join our dynamic team.
The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of Share Point Online and on-premises environments, with a particular focus on Share Point migration projects.
This role will involve developing, customizing, and maintaining Share Point solutions, as well as participating in the planning and execution of migration activities.
Responsibilities: Share Point Development & Customization: Develop and customize Share Point Online and on-premises solutions using Share Point Framework (SPFx), Java Script, HTML, CSS, and related technologies.
Create and manage Share Point lists, libraries, workflows, and web parts.
Design and implement custom forms using Power Apps and Share Point forms.
Configure and maintain Share Point site collections and sites.
Develop and maintain Power Shell scripts for Share Point administration and automation.
Share Point Migration: Participate in the planning and execution of Share Point migration projects from on-premises to Share Point Online from Legacy systems to Share Point Online.
Analyze existing Share Point environments and develop migration strategies.
Utilize migration tools and techniques (e.g., Share Point Migration Tool, Share Gate) to ensure successful data and content migration.
Troubleshoot migration issues and provide effective solutions.
Perform post-migration validation and testing.
Collaboration & Support: Collaborate with business analysts, project managers, and other developers to understand requirements and deliver effective solutions.
Provide technical support and training to end-users.
Document development and migration processes.
Stay up-to-date with the latest Share Point technologies and best practices.
Troubleshooting and problem solving: Diagnose and resolve Share Point related issues.
Perform root cause analysis.
Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
Minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience in Share Point development and administration.
Strong understanding of Share Point Online and on-premises environments.
Proficiency in Share Point Framework ( SPFx ), Java Script, HTML, CSS , and related web technologies.
Experience with Share Point migration tools and methodologies.
Experience with Power Shell scripting for Share Point administration.
Knowledge of Power Apps and Power Automate is a plus.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Experience with Share Point Server, 2016, or 2019 is desirable.
Preferred Skills: Experience with Azure services (e.g., Azure Functions, Azure Logic Apps ).
Knowledge of Microsoft 365 administration.
Experience with Share Point REST API and Microsoft Graph API.
Experience with SPMT and Sharegate.
