Role Summary:
We seek a Senior Engineer to help us build the next-generation Kubernetes efficiency platform. The engineer will own the design and development of a Kubernetes-native agent that will collect essential cluster data to enable real-time utilization visibility and drive potential automated actions for recommendations. The role will work closely with data engineers to ensure seamless integration with the core One Lens platform.
The role will evolve into other aspects of Kubernetes automation and security.
Requirements:
4+ years of experience in engineering Cloud /Dev Tools products.
Strong Kubernetes proficiency with 1+ year of experience in building operators/controllers or Daemon Sets, with deep knowledge of the API server, CRDs, and admission webhooks
In-depth expertise in Kubernetes scheduling mechanisms and precise resource usage accounting.
Strong skills in Go or Python; experience with client-go or similar libraries.
Familiarity with writing robust, well-tested cloud-native code.
Hands-on with Prometheus or similar monitoring stacks, including exporter development and alerting rules.
Experience designing efficient data pipelines for high-volume telemetry.
Clear communicator who can document complex systems.
