Job Description :
As a Software Engineer at Project Inika, you will play a key role in designing, developing, and maintaining our software solutions.
You will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality, scalable, and maintainable code that meets the needs of our customers and contributes to the overall success of the company.
The ideal candidate is proficient in Python, Node.js, and React.js, with experience in Shopify development being a significant advantage.
Responsibilities :
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other engineers to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Design, develop, and maintain backend services and APIs using Python and Node.js.
- Develop user interfaces and frontend components using React.js.
- Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code following best practices and coding standards.
- Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.
- Identify and address performance bottlenecks, security vulnerabilities, and other technical challenges.
- Stay updated on emerging technologies and trends, and propose innovative solutions to enhance our products and processes.
Requirements :
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Professional experience in software development.
- Proficiency in Python and Node.js, with a strong understanding of their respective ecosystems and best practices.
- Experience building responsive web applications using React.js.
- Familiarity with Shopify development (e.
g., app development, theme customization) is a significant plus. - Solid understanding of databases, data modeling, and SQL.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, agile environment and adapt to changing priorities.
