This includes clustered environments.•Monitor the health of the SQL Server environment. Includes disk space management, memory optimization, indexing, security, and backups.•Provide documentation on the SQL Server environment.•Emergency support in the event of server crashes, deadlocks, and process blocking. Database recovery.•Provide user support with query tuning and optimization.•Support installation/upgrades of software packages that work with SQL Server databases (e.g. Marketing software) and provide administration support for these packages as required.•Support systems development and system architecture development/design by acting as subject matter expert in databases and servers. Perform ad hoc code development, maintenance, and testing as required.•Research emerging database tools and technologies, and determine opportunities to utilize them at World Vision.
