About the Role
Samay Consulting is expanding into Oracle Retail and is looking to hire multiple seasoned Oracle MFCS (RMS Cloud) Techno-Functional Consultants to join an active Saa S implementation at a major US retailer headquartered in the Pacific Northwest. This is a high-visibility engagement. You'll support both technical and functional aspects of the implementation, working directly with business stakeholders and product teams.
RMS Cloud / MFCS Cloud experience is mandatory. Candidates with on-premise RMS experience alone will not be considered.

Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Oracle MFCS Techno‑Functional Consultant with strong functional expertise in retail merchandising and solid technical skills to support Oracle Retail MFCS Saa S implementations, upgrades, enhancements, and production support .
The consultant will work closely with business users, product owners, and technical teams to deliver scalable, high‑quality retail solutions across global retail clients.
Key Responsibilities
Functional Responsibilities Act as Techno‑Functional SME for Oracle MFCS (RMS Cloud) across implementation, upgrade, and support programs Lead and support core merchandising processes:
Item & Merchandise Hierarchy
Supplier & Costing
Pricing & Promotions
Purchase Orders, Transfers, Allocations
Inventory & Stock Ledger
Perform functional analysis, solution design, and requirement mapping with business stakeholders Drive fit-gap analysis , configuration, and solution walkthroughs with client teams Support data conversion and validation (items, suppliers, prices, inventory, stock ledger) Own functional testing cycles – SIT, UAT, regression, and production validation Support integration validation with upstream/downstream systems (Finance, Supply Chain, POS, WMS) Handle production support, incident analysis, and root cause resolution in a Saa S environment
Technical Responsibilities
Strong hands‑on experience in:
PL/SQL, Oracle SQL Customizations on Retail Data Stores
Unix / Shell scripting
Batch job monitoring and troubleshooting (Retail Saa S)
Experience debugging and supporting:
Retail batch programs
Data issues, performance issues, and reconciliation mismatches
Work with REST APIs, Retail Integration Bus (RIB / RIB‑based integrations) where applicable Support MFCS extensions, configurations, and customizations (ADF/Java awareness is a plus)
Experience working in Oracle Retail Saa S / OCI Cloud environments
Required Skills & Experience
Mandatory 10+ years of IT experience with strong focus on Oracle Retail 8+ years of experience in Oracle MFCS / RMS Strong retail domain knowledge (Merchandising & Inventory)
Techno‑functional expertise combining business process understanding + SQL/PLSQL Experience in Oracle Retail Saa S (MFCS Cloud) implementations or support Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Good to Have
Experience with other Oracle Retail modules:
Re IM, RPM, Re SA, Allocation, SIM, AICS
Experience in Oracle Retail upgrades (on‑prem → Saa S / version upgrades) Exposure to Agile / SAFe delivery models Oracle Retail or OCI certifications
Experience in working with teams from multiple shores
Experience working with any of the global retail clients (US/UK/EU/APAC)
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering / Computer Science / Information Systems
MBA or Retail domain certification is a plus
