Key Responsibilities:

Hardware Support:
- Install, configure, and maintain desktop computers, laptops, printers, and other IT hardware.
- Diagnose and repair hardware issues in a timely manner.
- Perform regular hardware upgrades and recommend replacements when necessary.
- Maintain an inventory of IT equipment and manage asset tracking.
Network Administration:
- Set up, configure, and maintain network devices such as routers, switches, and access points.
- Monitor network performance to ensure smooth connectivity and optimal speed.
- Troubleshoot and resolve network issues, including LAN, WAN, and Wi-Fi problems.
- Ensure network security by implementing firewalls, VPNs, and encryption protocols.
System Support:
- Install and configure operating systems (Windows, mac OS, Linux) and software applications.
- Perform regular system updates and patches to maintain security and functionality.
- Provide technical support to end-users for hardware, software, and network-related issues.
Documentation and Reporting:
- Maintain detailed records of hardware configurations, network setups, and system changes.
- Create and update technical documentation for internal processes and procedures.
- Report recurring issues and propose long-term solutions.
Collaboration and Training:
- Work closely with other IT team members to support organization-wide IT projects.
- Train staff on proper use of IT systems and basic troubleshooting techniques.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Proven experience in hardware and network support or a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of computer hardware, operating systems, and networking fundamentals.
- Familiarity with network tools and protocols such as TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VPNs.
- Certification in Comp TIA A+, Network+, CCNA, or similar is a plus.
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Work Environment:
- May require on-site and remote support depending on organizational needs.
- Potential for on-call responsibilities to address critical issues.
