Job description :

Roles and Responsibilities :

- Install, configure, and maintain computer hardware components, including servers, routers, switches, and firewalls.

- Monitor and troubleshoot network performance, identifying and resolving any connectivity or performance issues.

- Ensure proper functioning of the network infrastructure, including LAN, WAN, and VPN connections.

- Collaborate with other IT teams and vendors to implement hardware and network upgrades, ensuring compatibility and security.

- Manage user accounts and permissions, ensuring data security and access controls are in place.

- Perform regular software and firmware updates on network equipment to ensure optimal performance and security.

- Develop and maintain documentation of network configurations, troubleshooting procedures, and user guides.

- Conduct network audits and vulnerability assessments to identify potential risks and implement necessary security measures.

- Provide technical support and assist end-users with hardware and network-related issues.

- Stay up to date with emerging technologies and industry trends to ensure the company's hardware and network infrastructure remains current and efficient.

- Configure and install software, servers, routers and other network devices

- Monitor network performance and integrity

- Resolve issues tiers of support have escalated by troubleshooting cloud and local infrastructure

- Automate tasks and monitor their effectiveness

- Mentor team members on technical issues

- Create, oversee and test security measures (e.g.

access authentication and disaster recovery)

- Communicate with users when needed

Qualifications And Skills :

- Bachelor of Engineering in Computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.

- Minimum 3 to 14 years of proven experience as a Hardware Networking Specialist or similar role.

- Aged should be less than 40 years.

- Strong knowledge of computer hardware components and networking protocols.

- Familiarity with network security practices and vulnerability assessment tools.

- Experience with network monitoring and diagnostic tools.

- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.

- Ability to work well in a team and collaborate with cross-functional teams.

- Good communication and interpersonal skills.

- Industry certifications such as CCNA or CCNP are preferred
