Job Description:

We are seeking Senior COBOL (CICS) Developer to join our team. As a COBOL (CICS) Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining critical applications running on the mainframe platform. This role requires an in-depth understanding of COBOL, CICS, DB2, and other mainframe technologies.

Responsibilities:
Work collaboratively with other developers, business analysts, and project managers to design and develop high-quality mainframe applications.
Write efficient, maintainable, and well-documented code using COBOL, CICS, DB2, and other mainframe technologies.
Participate in code reviews and provide feedback to other developers.
Develop and execute unit and integration tests to ensure that code meets functional requirements and quality standards.
Proactively identify areas for improvement and recommend solutions to improve system performance and code quality.
Troubleshoot and resolve defects and issues in a timely manner.
Develop and maintain technical documentation for mainframe applications and systems.

Requirements:
3 - 8 years of experience in COBOL (CICS) Development.
In-depth knowledge of COBOL, CICS , DB2, and other mainframe technologies
Strong programming skills and experience with design patterns and best practices for mainframe development.
Experience with mainframe development tools such as IBM Debug Tool, File-AID.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
