Primary Objective:Seeking a product validation and test engineer to join a fast-paced and highly motivated team. The candidate will design software test plans, and test cases and write up test reports. Main Responsibilities: Understand relevant protocol specifications and RFCs from various standard bodies, Ex: IETF, OMA, 3GPP etc.Design system level test plans, write test cases based on RFCs, internal requirements and high level designsTest the platform firmware that includes networking stack and services, protocols such as TCP/UDP, TLS, HTTP and cellular concepts such as IMS, VoLTE, LTEProvides details bug analysis including sniffer analysisWrite detailed bug report and test reportsSupport Development team to reproduce and resolve firmware issuesDevelop automation test scripts, test and debug them and deploy into regression Qualifications: Hands on experience in testing wireless networks is a must – candidate must have worked on cellular technologies beforeHands on experience in test automation is a plus.
