The ideal candidate should possess hands-on experience, particularly in migrating from Datadog to Dynatrace, and should be adept at troubleshooting and optimizing both platforms to ensure seamless monitoring and operations.Key Responsibilities:Lead and implement monitoring solutions primarily using Datadog and Dynatrace.Provide technical expertise and best practices for Datadog/Dynatrace deployment and configuration.Oversee Datadog to Dynatrace migration project ensuring minimal disruption and maximum data retention.Perform root cause analysis and troubleshooting on issues related to both platforms.Collaborate with development and operations teams to ensure effective monitoring, alerting, and response to system health metrics.Design and manage Unix-based scripts and tools to support integration and custom solutions.Evaluate and recommend enhancements or alternative solutions to meet business requirements.Stay updated with the latest advancements in Datadog, Dynatrace, and Unix technologies.Required Qualifications:A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.A minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience with Datadog and Unix environments.Solid background in Dynatrace usage and administration.Proven experience in successfully migrating from Datadog to Dynatrace.Strong Unix scripting and automation skills.Familiarity with cloud platforms (like AWS, Azure, GCP).Strong troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills.Excellent communication and documentation abilities.Preferred Qualifications:Datadog and/or Dynatrace certification.Experience with other monitoring tools and technologies.
