Job Description :
Responsibilities :
- Lead the implementation and configuration of SAP MM modules within the S/4 HANA RISE environment.
- Gather and analyze business requirements, translating them into functional specifications and technical designs.
- Configure MM master data (material master, vendor master, purchasing info records), purchasing processes (purchase requisitions, purchase orders, goods receipts), inventory management (stock transfers, physical inventory), and invoice verification.
- Conduct system testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
- Provide ongoing support and maintenance for SAP MM modules.
- Troubleshoot and resolve incidents and service requests related to MM processes.
- Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions.
- Monitor system performance and identify areas for optimization.
- Develop and maintain documentation for MM configurations and processes.
- Analyze existing MM processes and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Recommend and implement best practices to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Collaborate with business users to understand their needs and provide solutions.
- Develop and deliver training materials for end-users.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including ABAP developers, Basis administrators, and other functional consultants (SD, FI/CO).
- Communicate effectively with business users and stakeholders.
- Participate in project meetings and provide regular status updates.
- Understand and work within the constraints and capabilities of the S/4 HANA RISE environment.
- Ensure compliance with RISE service level agreements (SLAs).
- Coordinate with SAP and the managed service provider for any RISE-related issues.
- Work on integration of MM with other SAP modules (SD, FI, CO, PP) and external systems.
Qualifications :
Experience :
- 5+ years of experience as an SAP MM Functional Consultant.
- Experience with at least one full lifecycle SAP S/4 HANA implementation.
- Experience working in an S/4 HANA RISE environment is highly preferred.
Technical Skills :
- Strong understanding of SAP MM modules and functionalities.
- Experience with configuring MM master data, purchasing processes, inventory management, and invoice verification.
- Knowledge of integration with other SAP modules (SD, FI/CO, PP).
- Familiarity with ABAP debugging and basic understanding of ABAP code.
- Knowledge of SAP Solution Manager is a plus.
Education :
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, or a related field.
- SAP MM certification is a plus.
Preferred Qualifications :
- Experience in a specific industry or domain relevant to the company's business.
- Experience with SAP Fiori applications.
- Experience with SAP Activate methodology.
- Knowledge of EDI and IDoc processing.
- Experience with advanced inventory management techniques (MRP, Kanban)
