Description

Responsibilities : As the Bid & Commercial Management Head, you will be responsible for leading and coordinating all aspects of commercial, proposal, and bid management activities. Your key responsibilities will include:
Strategy Development :
Contribute to the development and refinement of overall business strategies.
Provide strategic input for the growth and expansion of the company's service offerings.
Collaborate with executive leadership to align bid and commercial strategies with the company's long-term goals.

Bid Management:
Lead and oversee the end-to-end bid management process, from opportunity identification to submission.
Collaborate with Sales, Delivery, and Technical teams to develop winning proposals and solutions.
Ensure compliance with RFP/RFI requirements and internal quality standards.

Commercial Strategy:
Develop and implement commercial strategies aligned with business objectives.
Work closely with executive leadership to define pricing models, negotiation strategies, and terms. Develop pricing strategies that balance competitiveness with profitability.
Conduct market analysis to stay informed about industry trends and competitor pricing strategies.

Contract Negotiation:
Lead contract negotiations with clients, ensuring favorable terms and conditions for Brane.
Collaborate with Legal and Compliance teams to mitigate risks associated with contracts.
Provide guidance to Sales teams on negotiation best practices.

Risk Management:
Identify, assess, and manage risks associated with bids and contracts. Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies to safeguard the interests of the company.
Collaborate with project teams to ensure a clear understanding of contractual obligations.

Team Leadership:
Build and lead a high-performing Bid & Commercial Management team.
Provide guidance, mentorship, and professional development opportunities for team members.
Foster a collaborative and results-driven team culture.

Relationship Management :
Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key clients, fostering trust and collaboration
Collaborate with Relationship Managers to ensure bid and commercial strategies align with client expectations
Leverage client feedback to enhance bidding and commercial processes

Performance Metrics :
Establish and monitor key performance metrics related to bid success rates, contract value, and revenue growth.
Implement continuous improvement initiatives based on performance data.
Provide regular reports and updates to executive leadership on the performance of the Bid & Commercial Management team.

Team Leadership:

Build and lead a high-performing Bid & Commercial Management team.
Provide guidance, mentorship, and professional development opportunities for team members.
Foster a collaborative and results-driven team culture.

Qualifications : To be successful in this role, you should possess the following qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field; MBA or equivalent is a plus.
15 to 20 years of progressive experience in bid and commercial management roles.
Proven track record of successful bid management and contract negotiation in reputable companies such as IBM, Infosys, TCS, Wipro, or similar organizations.
Experience in handling all types of deals, including mega deals, showcasing the ability to navigate complex negotiations and deliver successful outcomes.
Strong leadership and people management skills with the ability to inspire and lead cross-functional teams.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence at all levels of the organization.
