Job Title: Unified Communications (UC) Engineer Location: [Specify Location or Remote]Work Hours: 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM ESTJob Type: [Full-time/Contract]Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Unified Communications (UC) Engineer with a minimum of 5 years of experience to manage the administration and maintenance of our UC platform.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for handling adds, moves, and programming changes , as well as documenting and testing all configurations.
This role requires strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to work collaboratively with an onsite team.
Key Responsibilities: Perform adds, moves, and programming changes to the UC platform.
Document configurations, changes, and test results to ensure system reliability.
Troubleshoot and resolve UC-related issues , collaborating with CISCO TAC Center when necessary.
Work closely with the onsite team to implement and maintain communication solutions.
Ensure best practices for UC platform administration and security.
Required Qualifications: 5+ years of experience in Unified Communications administration.
Strong expertise in CISCO Call Manager and related UC technologies.
Experience troubleshooting UC issues with CISCO TAC Center.
One or more CISCO Call Manager certifications (e.g., CCNP Collaboration, CCIE Collaboration) preferred.
Excellent documentation and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
Preferred Skills: Experience with additional Vo IP and telephony solutions.
Knowledge of SIP, Qo S, and networking fundamentals.
Familiarity with contact center solutions and integrations.
Additional Information: The candidate should have a minimum of 5 years of experience in Unified Communication and Collaboration Operations Cisco.
