You will be involved in Application Modernization projects from Legacy to Microservices or Management and Governance Systems in the areas of Security and Observability.
You'll be a part of modern, lean, self-governing engineering teams.#LI-DNI Technologies AWS Java SDK, Spring Boot, AWS CDK, S3, Dynamo DB, SQS, SNS, Lambda, APIGW, Step Function, Simple Workflow Service, Cloud Watch, Athena, Glue, Kinesis, EC2, VPC, RDS, EBS, EFS Responsibilities Experience in advanced Java Cloud Native Software Design and development Expert in using AWS Java SDK and calling Multiple AWS Services Good Understanding of AWS Services Like S3, Dynamo DB, SQS, SNS, Lambda, APIGW, Step Function, Simple Workflow Service, Cloud Watch, Athena, Glue, Kinesis Understand AWS Core Services like EC2, VPC, RDS, EBS, EFS Responsible for Writing Unit Test Cases using Junit or Equivalent Ability to build the application using Maven or Gradle Ability to Expose the Functions as API using Lambda, Spring boot is a Must Ability to Dockerize your application and deploy the application in ECS or EKS Ability to Write AWS CDK (Cloud Development Kit)/ Cloud Formation or Terraform for Deployment Code Good Understanding & implementation of Microservices Concepts and Best Practices Enabling application development by coordinating requirements, schedules, and activities Requirements 8+ years of relevant development experience in Java and AWS Services Hands-on development experience in developing Java Application Using AWS Services Hands-on Experience in Handling AWS Java SDK to Call AWS Services Hands-on experience with designing and developing REST APIs using Java in Lambda/APIGW, JBOSS, or Spring boot Hands-on development experience in AWS Java CDK for Deployment Automation Hands-on development experience in Serverless Cloud native services: Lambda functions, SNS, SQS, Dynamo DB, API Gateway, Step functions Good Automation Skills using AWS Orchestration Tools using Java SDK, CDK, Terraform, or Cloud Formation Good in Handling Data Format JSON, YAML, Dictionary, Files, and File types Good in Handling Different Data Types String, Numbers, Array, Tuple.
