Role Overview: As a Senior Product Designer, you will be responsible for the end-to-end design and development of three mobile applications. You will lead a small team of designers and work closely with front-end developers to bring your designs to life. This role requires a strategic thinker who can balance user experience with business needs while maintaining a consistent brand identity across all platforms. You will be reporting to the co-founders. Key Responsibilities:
Design Leadership: Oversee the design process for all three mobile applications, ensuring consistency and alignment with the overall product vision. Lead the design efforts from concept through to final implementation.
Wireframing and Prototyping: Create wireframes, user flows, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups for mobile applications. Ensure that designs are user-centered and optimized for mobile experiences.
User Research: Conduct and analyze user research to inform design decisions. Utilize user feedback, analytics, and usability testing to refine and improve the mobile applications.
Collaboration: Work closely with front-end developers to ensure seamless implementation of designs. Collaborate with product managers and engineers to balance user needs with technical constraints and business goals.
Team Management: Manage and mentor a small team of designers, providing guidance, feedback, and support to help them grow professionally.
Brand Consistency: Ensure that all design elements across the user, merchant, and fulfillment apps are consistent with the company’s brand identity. Develop and maintain design guidelines for mobile applications.
Design System: Establish and maintain a design system that supports the development of all three mobile applications, ensuring consistency and efficiency across the design process.
Iterative Improvement: Lead the ongoing iteration of the mobile applications, incorporating user feedback and data to continuously enhance the user experience. Qualifications:
3+ years of experience in product design, with a focus on mobile applications.
Strong portfolio showcasing mobile app design work, particularly in e-commerce or similar industries.
Proficiency in design tools such as Sketch, Figma, Adobe XD, etc.
Experience with wire-framing and prototyping tools specific to mobile applications.
Strong understanding of user-centered design principles and mobile UX/UI best practices.
Proven ability to manage and mentor a small team.
Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in designing and developing multiple mobile applications simultaneously.
Experience working in a startup or fast-growing company.
