Position/Role:

Qualification:
B. Tech (Electronics and communication)
Experience:
10 to 18 yrs.
Preferred Industry exposure:
Automotive Tier 1 or Tier 2 supplier or Electronics product based manufacturing company.
Responsibilities
- Lead technical discussions for integration of battery pack with customers, 2-wheerler & 3-Wheeler platforms.
- Responsible for working with internal & external stakeholders in establishing and fulfilling requirements, product specifications, standard compliances, timelines etc.
- Responsible for linking system-level battery pack requirements with target vehicles and driving electronics hardware, interface requirements.
- Coordinates with mechanical, electrical and embedded design teams, customers, suppliers, testing, validation, internal external testing and certification agencies, labs to deliver products as per business roadmap.
- Manage battery pack Bill of Materials and ensure requirements flow down to component design, procurement activities, unit testing. Conduct internal battery system design reviews to ensure compliance with requirements defined.
- Own project delivery / timelines in line with business requirement, track open issues, communicate issues to all groups and setup meetings as required to close all issues.
- Send weekly updates to stakeholders and participation in monthly MIS.
Job profile / skills
- Experienced in software coding in C, C++ for microcontroller programming.
- Experience in modelling and simulation of PCB Hardware design in PSPICE or similar tools.
- Hands on Experience in microcontroller communication protocols like CAN, LIN, UART and similar protocols.
- Experience of working on products like BMS, Motor controller, VCU, Chargers, charging systems etc.
- Experience in translating vehicle requirements into battery and charging system, identifying subsystem technical specifications and requirement.
- Experience with LFP, NMC battery pack design and testing, understanding of battery pack architectures including mechanical, electrical and thermal systems is desired.
- Experience in developing concepts, cascading requirements, design, validation and launching into production.
- Experience leading direct and cross functional teams effectively.
- Experience in managing external technology partners/suppliers in developing and implementing their technologies.
- Direct experience in getting products certified for compliance and regulatory standards like AIS, UL, CE etc.
- Hands on experience in preparation & executing DFMEA, DVP&R, testing and validation.
- Demonstrates analytical and critical thinking in NPD and problem solving.
- Good communication skill, interpersonal skill and a good team player.
