Job Description – Vendor Compliance & Digital Reputation Advocate

We are looking for a highly skilled Advocate & Compliance Professional who understands how a gig-based organization operates, can handle digital reputation management, enforce vendor compliance, and ensure total legal & operational hygiene across our platform.
Key Responsibilities
Vendor Compliance Management
Understand our vendor agreement & operational policies end-to-end and ensure every vendor, freelancer, or partner is aware and compliant before onboarding.
Ensure clear communication of all rules, payment policies, service-level expectations, and penalties.
Regularly update and audit compliance policies in line with global digital marketplace standards.
Digital Reputation & Review Management
Draft, send, and follow up on legal notices & communication to remove fake reviews, defamatory statements, or false allegations from ex-vendors, fake employees, or competition across platforms like Google, Glassdoor, Linked In, etc.
Build relationships and manage communication with review platforms, online vendors, and complaint forums to ensure our company’s digital profile remains positive and fair.
Identify potential reputation risks and take pre-emptive actions.
Vendor Happiness & Legal Coordination
Act as the first point of legal escalation for vendors' complaints, confusion, or disputes related to compliance.
Ensure a fair, transparent, and happy working environment for all vendors through proactive compliance management.
Assist internal teams in handling vendor queries related to agreements, payments, deliverables, and compliance.
Documentation & Process Ownership
Own and maintain a centralized process for vendor onboarding, agreement execution, compliance tracking, and review response.
Draft & manage legal communications, escalation responses, and vendor communication templates.
What We Expect
LLB / Legal Qualification with strong understanding of gig economy operations and digital workforce models.
3+ years of experience in Legal, Compliance, Vendor Management, or Reputation Management.
Excellent English communication & drafting skills.
Knowledge of Indian and Global digital marketplace regulations, freelancer/vendor contracts, platform policies.
Proven experience in handling online defamation, fake review removal, digital reputation management.
Strong coordination skills to work with legal forums, review platforms, vendors, and internal stakeholders.
Solution-oriented mindset — you are not just here to block, but to enable smooth operations & happy vendor relationships while ensuring compliance.
Good to Have
Prior experience working with platforms like Upwork, Fiverr, Freelancer, or any digital gig economy marketplace.
Knowledge of international vendor compliance regulations.
